The departures at Potsdam Main Station. Potsdam shares a city border with Berlin, and Magdeburg is about 100 kilometres west of Potsdam. Dortmund and Duisburg are in the far west of Germany. The yellow letters say that the train is being diverted. This would make a detour all the way to the west and then back to Magdeburg again. Fun! But we all knew that the Deutsche Bahn is completely irrational anyway, didn't we?
