Wheeeee, I love cats! All animals actually, but cats in particular. Those you see here all live with my grandma. She has a huge garden. Kinda like a farm. So they're not locked up in a tiny apartment like the one I live in.

Feeding time
So here they are, all five of them. Actually, their job is to catch mice who like to eat and life in the chicken food (you know, wheat and stuff) very much. But we feed them anyway and provide them with fresh water. (I say we, of course I don't do anything, *lol)
Hacki
That's Hacki, our youngest. His full name is Hackepeter (ground meat). Weird name for a cat, you say? Hihi. This is how it came to be: My uncle's collegue brought Hacki to us and told us how he was a stray and that his wife had found the cat and thought he was hungry and gave him the ground meat she had just bought for dinner. That's the story. Now this cat's name is Ground Meat. And yeah, I guess my uncle's collegue and his wife just had a salad for dinner.
Update 22 Aug 2006: This spring Hacki got run over by a car and died. Sadly his name became his fate. Rest in Peace, Little One!
Wusi
I saw Wusi or Wusili being born. Kinda. I saw many of our cats being born. If they weren't strays, that is. Ok, well, at least I saw them grow up from when they were really really tiny and like only a few hours old. Wusi is one of them. We named him Purzel first, but started calling him Wusi as in "wuseln" which is German for "being all over the place". My sister isn't particularly happy with that new name. (Her name is Susi. You can see why?)
Pinky
"The Pink" is another great example for how our cats change their names like a million times during their life. Somehow we had some trouble telling Pinkys gender when he was really young so we figured we'd just assume he was a girl-cat and named him Minka. WRONG! We went through all kind of names until we ended up calling him Minki-Pink and then just... Pink. Oh and Pinky also likes to catch birds instead of mice which we aren't really happy about. (And yeah, I just realized how I just talk about how every cat got his name.)
Mietzi
Mietzi was a stray, too, we found her at a gas station. She's our little "beast". She can be really bitchy sometimes. But if you ask me, that's just because she doesn't like to be petted and have people all over her all of the time. If she wants to be left alone she'll spit at you and scratch you. I like her anyway, because she does come to sit on my lap and let me pet her. Cats can decide for themselves what's best for them and when they like the cuddly-cuddly stuff. I can tell, because I'm almost like a cat myself.
Petz
Petzi is the oldest one in this heap. He's six or seven. (My cousin knows for sure. All I know is that his birthday is on 5th May.) He's also the only one left from our "original line" of cats the others of which were most likely caught for a test lab, because they didn't wear any indentification. At least that's what we assume since the newspapers were writing about these kinda things then. Just to make one thing clear: ANIMAL TESTING IS W R O N G!!! It's sad that our cats are gone, but it makes me furious if I think of what people might be or have been doing to them! So yeah, Petz is the oldest and I guess he's my favourite, too. Although he leaves his hair all over the place. Which isn't very fortunate since he likes to cuddle the most of all our five cats. But then again, what's a lint roller for? By the way, that's Pink in the first two pictures.
Update 20 Nov 2006: After a long time of being sick Petz has died a couple of weeks ago. Hope he finds someone to cuddle in Cat Heaven.
Janosch
This is one of my favourite pictures. It's beautiful, right? It's Petz again and Janosch under the flowers. Janosch was a stray, too, and he loved to cuddle. But he always got in trouble for fighting over the food with the others so he left after a while. I honestly have no clue whatsoever of what he's doing now, 'though I remember my cousin or grandma say that he was still in the area. Anyway, here's my best shot of him (and any other cat) ever.
The long gone
The first picture shows Putzi (who is Petzi's mother and got caught) and Petz sharpening their claws. The second picture has Purzel (same age as Petz and got caught, too) who obviously got something wrong.
More animals
So. What is it we can learn from our feathered friends? Well? Exactly! No matter what colour your feathers are, your eggs will always be light brown. Besides that chickens can live together peacefully without oppressing or killing each other like humans tend to do.
