Moi

Born in Wolmirstedt, Germany
On February 10, 1983
Named Stefanie
Has black hair and green eyes
Very soon after birth finds a liking in eating dirt and spreading the content of her parents' book shelves all over the living room floor
Also likes to draw on wallpapers while parents are out
Grows out of this
Spends pretty much every weekend of her childhood with her cousins on grandmother's farm
Grandma's cats are part of the family
Has a (relatively) happy childhood
Starts school
Has no friends (pretty much) since most of free time is spent at grandma's
Is shy and developes almost inaudible voice
Teachers don't like that
Is a good student nevertheless and gets straight A's all through primary school
Travels to Poland and Czech Republic
Moves on to grammar school and finds herself some (3) friends
Goes on her first trip to Sweden (with three more to come) and falls in love (with the country)
Joins the choir and sticks with it
Dreams of becoming a musician (due to fandom) or musician's love interest (also due to fandom)
Learns to play the guitar
Picks up accordion lessons and electric guitar
Quits and adds them to the failed-attempt-to-learn-to-play-this-instrument-list with recorder and clarinet already on it
Takes singing lessons
Is still a good student
Is doing particularly well in Maths, English, French and Music classes
Strongly dislikes Religion/Ethics and Gym classes
Likes school on some days
Hates school on most days
Still has a few handpicked friends
Almost gets a boyfriend or raped (not so sure about it since went home early enough to not find out)
Goes on a school trip to France
Loves it
Starts to find a great liking in History due to new (and really wonderful) teacher
Hates her Maths class
Decides to become an Au Pair after school
Starts spending most of her free time babysitting, doing internships at child care centers and taking child care classes
Gets a 1.9 in her Abitur exams
Ditches her own graduation
Leaves home for one year in the US to have a whole lot of bad experiences and a handful of good ones
Misses the application deadline for most universities
Almost starts her studies in England only four weeks after her return from the States, but has to reject the offer due to insufficient financial resources
It sucks to be poor
Decides to get a job and go to university next fall
(October 2003)

Hangs around at parents' place for half a year doing nothing productive (from parents' point of view)
Spends three days alltogether during that time working
Enrolls with university in Magdeburg in spring and studys History, Slavoic Linguistics and Political Science
Quits after one semester and applys for cultural science in Frankfurt/Oder where she gets accepted for a left over spot
Studys happily (more or less) at the Polish border learning two new languages (Polish and Swedish)
Is involved with the Deutsch-Schwedische Gesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt, Attac, the photo club and the choir trying to lead the latter to new fame
(Added December 2004)
